Met hartstocht en overgave bespeelt  Ada Pérez haar traverso.

Ada begon haar muziekstudies aan het Conservatorium van Valladolid. Zij heeft bekwaamd op de dwarsfluit bij Carlos Migueláñez.

Sinds haar jeugd in Valladolid (Spanje) heeft zij zich toegelegd op de dwarsfluit en barokmuziek fascineerde haar in het bijzonder, niet in het minst dankzij de vele cursussen die zij volgde bij Wilbert Hazelzet.

Na een studie muziekpedagogiek aan de Universidad de Valladolid studeerde ze traverso bij Agostino Cirillo in Murcia. Vervolgens verhuisde Ada naar Utrecht om bij Wilbert Hazelzet haar Master of Music te behalen, waarbij ze zich specialiseerde in het spelen van kamermuziek op historische instrumenten.

Naast orkestspel en muziekworkshops is het kamermuziek waar haar hart naar uitgaat, onder andere in samenspel met klavecinist Tim Veldman. Het duo heeft opgetreden in Frankrijk, Spanje, Engeland, België, Duitsland en Nederland en voert achttiende-eeuwse muziek, bijvoorbeeld van Bach , vader en zoons, uit alsof het gisteren uit de pen vloeide.

Ada Pérez plays her flute with passion and dedication. She began her musical studies at the Conservatory of Valladolid, becoming proficient on the flute with Carlos Migueláñez. Since childhood she has focused on the flute. She is particularly fascinated by baroque music, inspired by the many courses she took with Wilbert Hazelzet.

After studying music education at the University  (Valladolid), she went to Murcia to study baroque flute with Agostino Cirillo. Ada then moved to The Netherlands where she specialized in chamber music on period instruments with Wilbert Hazelzet and obtained her Master of Music degree.

Besides orchestral playing and chamber music performances, Ada organizes workshops and she develops her vocation as a music and flute teacher.

Together with the harpsichordist Tim Veldman, she has performed in France, Spain, Germany, UK, Belgium and The Netherlands.
